The way in which I offer photography tuition has evolved over the years. To reflect the latest changes, I have updated the information on the PhotoActive website.

The one-to-one photography tuition will continue, although I am now pretty much retired and intend to enjoy a lot more of the freedom this can offer.

The one-to-one photography tuition still enables me to pass on over 50 years experience as a professional photojournalist. It’s a great joy to me to be able to help keen photographers improve their skills and fulfill their ambitions.

I will not longer be doing any photography workshops or photography walks – unless these are arranged by camera clubs or other organisations.

The one-to-one lessons will all be based at my home in Shropshire, and I will do fewer of them. I am prepared to accompany some 121 students on-location, but this will be by special arrangement and at extra cost. For more information about this, please contact me.

Prices, too, have gone up a little. They have remained the same for well over 5 years.

All in-date gift vouchers issued before 12th January 2025 will be honoured, of course.

I have now been working as a professional photographer for 60 years – I’ve picked up a bit of experience along the way. I’m still happy to share it with you during a session of 121 photography tuition.
